2026 Tour of Paris Boutique Hotels

I'm excited to return to Paris this weekend for another whirlwind adventure filled with hotel site visits! I was invited by Selected Escapes and Rebecca Recommends (luxury travel marketing/representation companies and Virtuoso preferred partners) to visit their portfolios' distinctive and centrally-located Paris boutique hotel properties in person. There are over 1,600 hotels in Paris, and it's my job to stay on top of which ones are best suited for you, your interests, and your preferences. This is my third year in a row making a trip to Paris for hotel site visits, and you can find videos of some on the Nine Muses Travel YouTube "Hotel tours" playlist. My most-watched video (over 8,500 views) is a tour of the fabulous Belle Etoile Penthouse Suite with Terrace at Le Meurice.

 

A city like Paris is filled with history, often tied to its hotels. For example, Brach Paris was a huge postal sorting center from the 1970s before Philippe Starck reimagined it. Cour des Vosges is a design masterpiece housed in a former royal palace. Hôtel Saint-André des Arts is set in an early 19th century townhouse that once drew together musicians, writers, actors, and singers. Hôtel Des Grands Hommes, where I'm spending three happy nights, is where in 1919 poets André Breton and Philippe Soupault wrote The Magnetic Fields, a seminal surrealist work.

 

I love touring hotels, especially in Paris, to admire their art, architecture, design, local history, and unique sense of place.
