Another AWESOME Virtuoso Travel Week

I'm back from Virtuoso Travel Week! It's the world's largest luxury travel conference, and 4,800 of top travel industry players, like yours truly, gathered in Las Vegas to network and deepen our understanding of each other and the global communities we're devoted to exploring. I had over 100 in-person meetings, but I actually felt rested and relaxed because this year I hydrated like a champ, limited my coffee, didn't have a sip of alcohol, and got a full night's sleep each night. I learned a LOT that I'll be sharing on our trip planning calls and in future Muse News - once I catch up on emails!
This was my eighth Travel Week as a member of Gifted Travel Network (some of us are pictured above). This one stood out from the rest because every day in Las Vegas this year I experienced something magical: preferred travel partners would see me walk by and run over to hug me, or they'd jump up to embrace me at the start of our scheduled meetings. After eight years running Nine Muses Travel, a lot of real friendships formed here. But what really got me this year is that over and over people kept using the word "awesome" to describe me (which means my clients too). Of course it's flattering. But I work hard at being the best I can be, usually alone in my home office; I basked in feeling appreciated. It uplifted me, and I felt buoyant all week, living a professional dream come true.
This Friday is Nine Muses Travel's eighth anniversary of incorporating, and many of you reading this have been championing me since Day One. I don't get to celebrate work anniversaries without your support, your business, your inspiring trip requests, and your trust and loyalty. Thank you for helping me achieve another year in business, and here's to another year ahead of joyful adventures together.
