Escape to The Hamptons - Villa Rentals & Gold Coast Discoveries

With privacy and exclusivity in high demand right now, renting a private villa is the perfect way to enjoy alone time with friends and family in luxury that's more affordable than you might think. A villa vacation is surprisingly economical compared to booking multiple hotel rooms. Plus you can have your own private chef, personal concierge, chauffeur, masseuse, and housekeeping too. Nine Muses Travel works with an amazing villa company based in the U.S. with personally-inspected properties in over 50 destinations worldwide - across the Caribbean, Mexico, South America (Belize, Costa Rica, Panama), Asia (Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Thailand), French Polynesia, South Africa, Europe (Croatia, France, Greece, Italy, Portugal, Scotland, Spain, Switzerland), and around the U.S. in California, Colorado, Florida, Hawaii, Nevada, North Carolina, Utah - and New York!

As you'd expect, there are incredible one to five bedroom residences you can reserve in Manhattan for a luxe getaway, but for those of you feeling the call of the ocean, the Hamptons along eastern Long Island's South Fork are a dream escape. If you're not lucky enough to own a house in The Hamptons, you can still vacation like you do! Nine Muses Travel can arrange for you to stay at incredible Southhampton properties right on the oceanfront - like this dreamy, modern house pictured above. It's newly built and directly on the beach. Just imagine opening the glass door of your bedroom to run right into the ocean! (I've been imagining it nonstop since I laid eyes on pictures of this house.) This two-bedroom house can sleep up to 10 people with luxurious sleeper couches in the great room and den, and it has four bathrooms.

My favorite house rental find in the Hamptons though has to be the waterfront home previously owned by world renowned composer Marvin Hamlisch, one of only 15 EGOT winners (Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony). One of his Grammy wins was an infectious arrangement of "The Entertainer" from the 1973 film The Sting starring Paul Newman and Robert Redford; most people know it now as the ubiquitous ice cream truck song. Affectionately I remember he composed the first musical I saw on Broadway as a kid - A Chorus Line. YES, you can stay in the former Westhamptons home of Marvin Hamlisch and enjoy all the bragging rights and stories that will emerge from your fun, fantastic stay in this seven bedroom home that can sleep up to 20 people. It has four and a half bathrooms, and two fireplaces - one in the main bedroom and one in the living room. It has its own private dock with ocean access and is a short stroll into town. You'll love having a private pool, spa, and sauna on the property, which has a chic, understated country vibe making your Hamptons escape comfortable, in casual luxury.

Another eye-popping beachfront property I'm thrilled to tell you more about is a five bedroom, seven bath villa alongside a pristine beach with sweeping views over both the Atlantic Ocean and Shinnecock Bay. The 6,000 square foot modern house sleeps up to 10 guests and has several decks facing the ocean, a heated pool, tennis court, and much more. The 360 degree ocean and bay vistas are stunningly picturesque, and downstairs you'll find a media room and a gym. Your private wooden walkway leads you a short distance over the dunes to the beach. The state-of-the-art kitchen will making cooking a pleasure for you - or your private chef.
