Listen to Your Heart - and Travel!

This weekend is Valentine's Day, and however you feel about the day, I hope you find ways to treat yourself with tender loving care. There are several alleged Saint Valentines, and there are 10 places around the world claiming to have some relics of his. The supposed skull relic of St. Valentine is in Rome at the 8th century Basilica of Saint Mary in Cosmedin, if you want to make a pilgrimage to ask him why do fools fall in love. St. Valentine knows about falling head over heels - because two of the possible St. Valentines were both beheaded in their martyrdom. Hey, love is a battlefield.

Now that I'm back from Ireland, I'm looking forward to my next trip - to Paris! There are so many wonderful hotels in Paris, and visiting them in person helps me be the best advisor for you. Touring Paris hotels has become an annual trip theme; this is my third year in a row making a trip to Paris for hotel site visits.
