Happy Anniversary to Nine Muses Travel! Sunday was the fourth anniversary of incorporating in New York, and this year feels extra special as I reflect on what we've been through the last few years and how much this community has grown. Muse News now has over 4,300 subscribers, all here together on the same wavelength - sharing our passion for inspiring arts, illuminating history, unique cuisine, and immersive, authentic cultural experiences. I'm able to celebrate this anniversary because of your support: your personal references, engaging with Nine Muses Travel on social media platforms (links all below), dropping me a line to comment on something in Muse News (I love those emails!), and, most importantly, your trust and care as we plan some of your most memorable days together. Last week was incredibly busy as I was in countless meetings from 5am-11pm during the annual Virtuoso Travel Week - the industry's largest, most prestigious gathering. I met virtually across time zones with hoteliers and tour operators throughout the U.S., Japan, Thailand, Fiji, France, Spain, Portugal, UK, Italy, Greece, Hungary, South Africa, and so, so many more! I learned new fun facts like Sri Lanka is renowned for its leopard population and is the world's largest producer of cinnamon and that the best part of staying on Capri is its network of coastal walks and the serenity after the day-trippers leave. Some memorable hotel meetings:

And as borders re-open across Southeast Asia, this is a great time to discover the amazing food, cultures, scenery, and idyllic tropical weather of this enchanting part of the world. These countries are now open to U.S. travelers who are fully vaccinated.
Although there are still some in-country requirements such as mask mandates on public transportation, Southeast Asian countries are returning to many pre-pandemic travel conditions, removing the requirement for specialty visas and COVID-19 travel insurance. Visitors with valid vaccination cards, passports, and appropriate visas are now moving freely among these destinations. In some cases, entry is still possible for unvaccinated travelers, though without a vaccination card, the processes may include testing, quarantining, and other restrictions upon entry – click on the country name above to see the most current travel information.
