Happy St. Patrick's Day! Did you know that Savannah boasts the third largest St. Paddy's Day parade in the country, topped only by New York City and Chicago? That's just one of the fun facts I learned about Savannah last week, when I became smitten with this art-filled city. They turn dozens of city fountains green, and are very proud of their Irish celebrations!

It's a restored, red-brick mansion on Forsyth Park, and you feel like a privileged guest inside a storied local's home (who also happens to have a fabulous pool club and spa). On my property tour, I also learned that a new Bardo hotel is coming this year to my home town of Pittsburgh as they convert the 40-story Gulf Tower and incorporate its Art Deco architecture into the new hotel's design. I can't wait to check it out when they finish!

How are you celebrating St. Patrick's Day this year? I'll be spending part of mine at an usher orientation for our last show of the season at Theatre for a New Audience, where you'll sometimes find me scanning tickets, selling books in the lobby, or showing patrons to their seats.
