Why 2025 is a Great Year to Travel

This week the groundhog saw his shadow in Punxsutawney and told us we've got more winter ahead, but I say that just makes it sweeter when you take your winter getaway to someplace warm or plan your summer holidays while it snows outside. Travel is beautiful escapism and a welcome relief from everyday life. It's something you buy that actually makes you richer. It connects us to other cultures and the breadth of human history. Travel is an educator, and Travel can be a solace. My clients all have different reasons for the trips they want to arrange, and I love my role in helping to craft personalized journeys that will inspire them.

 

I feel fortunate that so much of my work day is spent picturing fascinating destinations around the world as I envision clients on their future holidays and curate itineraries I think they'll love. This past week, in my mind, I've been to Belize, Budapest, Prague, Peru, Paris, Avignon, Ireland, Costa Rica, Morocco, Inverness, Venice, Antarctica, Iceland, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, and Tucson too. If only I could earn frequent flier miles from the far-flung trips I take while working at my desk!

 

Last week ushered in the Year of the Snake in the Chinese zodiac, which is said to be a powerful time for personal growth and ensuing wisdom. It sounds like the perfect year for traveling!
