I'm so excited, and I just can't hide it! On Sunday, New York State opened vaccine appointments for people with underlying conditions, and while yours truly has been steadily losing weight, my BMI still enabled me to make an appointment. I've never been so happy to not lose weight faster! I got through online and scheduled my first jab at Javits Center, and of course my first travel thoughts were about seeing family and friends in Pennsylvania, but then... I returned to the wildest travel wish list destinations dominating my imagination. I've become obsessed with Namibia for its otherworldly desert landscapes and safaris to spot lions, zebras, desert-adapted elephants, and the thriving cheetah population; like the cheetah pictured above, I am ready to pounce! Then there's Morocco, Egypt, Alsace and the French canals by barge, the Algarve, Madeira, the Azores, and every resort I feature in Wanderlust Wednesdays on Nine Muses Travel's Facebook and LinkedIn pages.
