Exclusive to the Virtuoso network, it features personal networking appointments, extensive professional development sessions, and invaluable face-to-face connection with the most professional community of executives of preferred partners (hotels, tour operators, etc.) in Virtuoso, the world's most admired travel consortium. I'm incredibly proud that Nine Muses Travel has access to the Virtuoso network because the suppliers are are not only the best out there but also highly (and continuously) vetted, so you're always assured of working with respected and reliable companies. My attending Virtuoso Travel Week translates to better experiences for you! I'm meeting with a wide spectrum of top suppliers who will take extra special care of you during your travels.

What destinations are top of mind for you in 2022, 2023, and beyond? Let me know which places you'd like me to report back to you on! My calendar is nearly full, but I can still fit in a few more meetings....

Virtuoso travel advisors are gearing up for one of the world’s best luxury travel conferences, where they’ll shop for your next getaway. A treasure hunt through the Tuscan countryside in a vintage Fiat. A private meeting with the Dalai Lama. Those dinner reservations that friends told you were impossible to get. Because of the connections they have around the world, Virtuoso travel advisors can surprise their clients with some incredible and unexpected experiences. And in the past few years, they’ve also proved they can handle the admittedly less-incredible surprises too – flight cancellations, trip delays, travel restrictions. In a time when expecting the unexpected feels like the norm, working with a travel advisor has become more valuable than ever.

These connections – whether they’re pulling off big surprises or saving the day – are made and cultivated at Virtuoso Travel Week, one of the world’s most important luxury travel conferences. Now in its 34th year, the event brings together thousands of Virtuoso travel advisors and representatives from Virtuoso hotels, cruise lines, tour operators, and more for several days of connecting and networking. This year, for increased flexibility, the event will be hybrid: participants will attend virtually or travel to Las Vegas for the in-person event at Bellagio, Aria Resort & Casino, and Vdara. Advisors will spend the week meeting with representatives from more than 2,000 hotels, resorts, tour operators, and more – all in the name of scoping out which new, popular, and one-of-a-kind travel experiences are best for each of their clients. Think of it like the Fashion Week of travel: Advisors sit front row on the proverbial runway, shopping for travelers. As a result, they know exactly which ship to book for that Mediterranean cruise you want to take next summer, or which Bali hotel fits best with your vacation style.

Beyond networking, the week’s events include professional development seminars and roundtables, Q&As with Virtuoso leadership, a travel technology summit, sustainability symposiums, opportunities to safely explore Las Vegas (including an evening at the new Resorts World Las Vegas), and a gala dinner to recognize travel advisors and companies who have spent the past year turning the pandemic into an opportunity to make a difference.

One of the biggest factors that sets Virtuoso travel advisors apart is their connections – advisors know hotel owners, tour providers, and on-the-ground contacts around the world who can help them turn an ordinary vacation into an extraordinary one. When you check into a hotel room and your favorite bottle of wine is on the table … your Virtuoso advisor helped make that happen. If you’ve always dreamed of sipping tea with a member of the Royal Family at Buckingham Palace … a Virtuoso advisor likely knows someone in London who can make that a reality. These are the types of connections that get made while networking at Virtuoso Travel Week.

Virtuoso’s company ethos is based on human connection, and that’s one of the biggest benefits of working with a Virtuoso travel advisor – that curated, personal collaboration is something an automated travel booking site will never be able to provide. Spending a week engaging with a very extended family of global travel professionals results in another year of exciting future vacation opportunities – and peace of mind – for travelers.
