"The landscape of the American West has to be seen to believed and has to be believed to be seen." ― N. Scott Momaday
Yesterday the finishing touches on my next adventure came together, and this weekend I'm so excited to be headed to Denver to board the luxury Rocky Mountaineer two-day train ride headed for Moab, Utah to explore Canyonlands and Arches national parks. The train journey includes a hotel night in Glenwood Springs, Colorado too! Beware of SERIOUS FOMO when you CLICK HERE to watch Rocky Mountaineer's video of the exact train trip I'm about to take. It's breathtaking!! It's called Rockies to Red Rocks, and since it's a brand new route, Rocky Mountaineer invited me to try it out at a special travel advisor rate I couldn't refuse (practically free). If you're not following Nine Muses Travel on social media (see links below), this is definitely a good time to start!
In the office things continue to be busy with so many bookings that are last minute (within 60 days), but keep 'em coming because I'm happy to help. It's just so wonderful people are traveling again! I mean... I just booked a trip for myself that departs in a few days, so I get it. Sometimes you don't want to wait when you need to get out, change the scenery, and recharge. Vacation planning is really stressful for some, and I love taking that pressure off of my clients who need a getaway to relax. I make travel planning easy and painless - even on short notice.
For everyone in the Nine Muses Travel community celebrating Pride month, here's some good news from the world of travel. The U.S. State Department announced it will allow Americans to use the neutral "X" gender marker on passports, if someone identifies as nonbinary. Then use your passport to cross the pond and show some Scotland some love because the Church of Scotland voted to allow its ministers and deacons to officiate at same-sex weddings, ending a centuries-old prohibition. Or dazzle your partner on a romantic trip to Italy because it just dropped all its travel requirements on June 1st.
If you'd like to stay closer to home and experience a river cruise like the one I took on the Mississippi River in March with American Queen Voyages, they have a sale now where the second guest in your stateroom sails free and fares start at $1,200 per guest. Whether cruising America’s mighty Mississippi, Tennessee and Ohio rivers, exploring Great Lakes’ fishing ports in the US and Canada, or calling at New England’s best-known summer resorts, this is a great value! All voyages include a one-night, pre-cruise hotel stay at the embarkation city; complimentary transfers between the hotel and ship; unlimited sightseeing tours in ports of call; open bar throughout the ship, including wine, craft beers and specialty coffees; unlimited Wi-Fi; and free use of the ship’s bicycles and walking sticks while exploring ashore.
Wherever you long to roam, let me help you get there in comfort and style - even on short notice!
