Another year is beginning its final month, and I still can't make sense of the passage of time anymore. How did 2022 get so late so soon? I'm not the only one feeling this way, right? When I think back to where we all were a year ago compared to now, I find myself getting really emotional. A year ago I was working with the NYC Test + Trace Corps missing a second holiday season in a row with my family in Pittsburgh. Now, I'm seeing family at Thanksgiving AND Christmas, which I haven't done in years. And travel is back too in such a big way, and I'm so, so grateful to all of my wonderful clients in 2022 who helped me achieve over a half million in sales this year - a new record! I have so much passion and joy for what I do: listening deeply to my clients' travel desires, crafting itineraries to exceed expectations with imaginative, well-connected, and reliable suppliers all over the world, and assisting every step of the way in making arrangements so the hardest work you have to do is figuring out what to pack.
I LOVE helping my clients make the most of vacation days, family time, and solo escapes. And when Nine Muses Travel is tagged or mentioned in social media posts, you have no idea the effect that has on me. I feel profoundly moved seeing clients happy, relaxed, and rejuvenated on a trip I've arranged. Last week a dear friend posted about her Turks and Caicos trip, soul-nourishing days spent along the white sand beaches and turquoise waters of Grace Bay, and this past weekend another friend departed with her boyfriend to Costa Rica for the first time. They had a private tour of San Jose, will enjoy a beachfront resort in Guanacoste, and explore Palo Verde National Park to spot monkeys and other wildlife, like birds, crocs, iguanas and a lot more, as they cruise the Tempisque River. This coming weekend, other clients will disembark their Danube River cruise for an action packed post-cruise journey to Prague where we've arranged for some great experiences: classical music concert in Prague Castle's beautifully decorated 17th century Baroque Concert Room, dinner sightseeing cruise along the Vltava River, private walking tour of off-the-beaten-track sights with a local, and a day trip to the uniquely charming Medieval town of Kutna Hora that includes several UNESCO world heritage sites.
The itineraries I craft are so different because everyone has their own special trip ideas, preferences, dreams, desires, must-haves, and can't miss activities - often within each traveling party. It's especially important to include what a family's kids are into because happy kids make a happier vacation!
