Martin Luther King Jr.'s philosophy inspires me very much, and like during last year's dark winter, I found comfort in his words this year too. Even with the treadmill we've been on these last two years, we have to keep moving forward, though our legs can feel too tired to run or walk sometimes. None of it's been easy, and yet, here we are, moving forward, at whatever pace works best for us on any given day.
One thing that's always propelled me and kept me happily looking ahead is dreaming of an upcoming trip. Anticipating the trip is almost as good as being on it, and whenever I return home, I immediately start thinking about where I can go next. Travel is about leaving our routines behind, walking down foreign streets, tasting new foods, and taking in landscapes so different from those that normally surround us every day. We leave to find ourselves - our most adventurous, dormant selves that fly free when released out into the wild of a world of new discoveries.
In that spirit, it's no mystery why Nine Muses Travel has been so busy! Delightful requests have come in recently for a tropical honeymoon, milestone birthdays, museum-filled visits of London and Paris, spring break filled with ancient Greek sites, a romantic English escape, family holidays in Costa Rica for both summer and winter holidays, and more. It's not easy sometimes to look ahead into 2022 and not know what lies ahead. I get it.
